The actress starred as Cleopatra during the second season of the original show, The Roman Empire. Jessica got a call from all over the world to play the leading role for the film The Outpost. The actress submitted a video of her self to the producers which contained her acting as well as a tape of her training in MMA. They sent her a video the following day of herself sword fighting. Jessica went through the script and knew the character would need weapon training. She recorded her first lesson with a professional following studying the script. Jonathan Glassner stated that they had awed by Jessica's skills at the beginning of her training. It was the first time she had acted in a US important role since she was previously in Australian movies. Jessica can embody her strong female role because of her passion for action, her mixed martial arts skills as well as her horse riding, guns and weapon skills as well as her athletic skills.
